Artists who challenge the categorical intersection of fibre arts and Indigenous art, both of which have, at various moments, been considered as craft rather than fine art. The ten invited Indigenous artists in the on-line exhibition are noted for pushing both the boundaries of the medium of fibre, or reversely, using unconventional materials that refer to and are transformed into an unexpected textile.
