Barry Ace’s new ceramic works, the Earth Remembers: Echoes of Light (2024) and Clayborn Serpent: Vessel of Radiant Power (2024) will be featured by de Montigny Contemporary at the upcoming Art Toronto 2025 from October 23rd to 26th.
Both ceramic works were created during a two-week summer residency with artist D’Andrea Bowie at her studio in Stouffville, Ontario during the summer of 2024. Two additional ceramic works by Ace are included in the new Indigenous Ceramic Gallery at the Gardiner Museum (Toronto) that officially opens to the public this November 2025.
