Heffel is honoured to represent Barry Ace in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver and offer a number of newly available works through private sale, featuring a remarkable 19-piece series, which reveals an intimate glimpse into the life of a contemporary artist during a global pandemic.

Barry Ace is a practicing visual artist and currently lives in Ottawa. He is a debendaagzijig (citizen) of M’Chigeeng First Nation, Odawa Mnis (Manitoulin Island), Ontario, Canada. Ace’s mixed media and assemblage textile works explore various aspects of cultural continuity and the confluence of the historical and contemporary.

Works can be viewed at the Heffel galleries in MontrealToronto and Vancouver and online through our virtual preview.

A limited edition hard copy catalogue is available now.
